Last month I was blogging about how code review is dead . Today I want to share some principles and practices to make things better. In the previous post I shared some actions, now let's understand the principles behind many of these actions.  First of all, can we save code reviews, and make them better, for sure we can. It's not that hard, for the code review it self-improve we need a couple of things in place. Usually, engineers have the same complaints like It takes a long time to do code reviews, there are too many files, I don't know this code or this service, etc... The fact is there are multiple mindset problems here. 

Ethereum is the most interesting blockchain platform right now. I have lots of interest in IOTA and HashGraph  because they claim to solve scalability problems that ethereum and pretty much most of platforms/token have, however they don't have as big adoption and rich ecosystem as ethereum has. Blockchain got popular in 2009 thanks to Bitcoin paper but the market and development industry still pretty new. Ethereum allows us to create Smart Contracts which are far more powerful then what you got when you work with bitcoins. Most of the ideas in blockchain and ethereum platform are not new, they are pretty old concepts like Cryptography , Immutability , Distributed Computing , and Consensus Algorithms . Clearly, the Financial sector was the first application field for blockchain, however, we are not limited to financial applications and we could use for many other industries like HealthCare, Agriculture, Energy, Real estate, Legal, Insurance, Education, Gov an...

A long time ago a remember when agile on the early days was something driven by developers - pretty much by XP practitioners. Don`t get me wrong agile is about the customer, and its about making better software and of course mgmt is part of software but agile is not only about mgmt. I`m really not sure when - maybe after PMI embracing Scrum and Jira rises as the ultimate agile tool(not for me :-) ) But today more and more a see less and less engineers going away from agile.  Maybe because they thing agile is about process, tools(jira) and practices(scrum) and thats a manager thing. To be clear agile is way more than scrum. I`m way more into Lean and Kanban than Scrum but i can`t deny i`m seeing this more and more on the market.
