Go lang is a cool language to build services. Several DevOps and Infrastructure solutions are built-in go such as Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes, ToxiProxy, Chaos Monkey(CHAP), and many others. Go-Zero is a framework built-in Go that helps us to code microservices in Go. Go-Zero is endorsed by the CNCF foundation. Today I want to share with you a video and POC demonstrating how easy to get started with Go-Zero based microservices written in Go. 

Spring Boot 2 - It's the default Java way to implement REST endpoints and microservices nowadays. I really miss old days of spring where we used XML and there was no coupling and spring was really lightweight. IMHO Spring is great if you use it under a service, If you use a shared library of the big framework, you can easily get Binary Coupling which will be bad for you in the long run.  Today I want to show how easy is to use Netty. Using netty directly is not that hard and really anyone can use without spring. Netty comes as default dependency if you use webflux instead of the web. So Let's get started. Rust is a great language, currently was the language that I most study in 2019 and in 2020(so far). Rust has interoperability with any language pretty much. Rust is also great for containers and to run in Kubernetes. Today I want to show how to build a simple microservice. We will use Actix , Tokio-Postgress , and other libraries. We will use Postgress as our source of truth and we will run it in docker(for development sake). We also will use Barrel + some customs migration structure I created. The code will be all async and non-blocking IO. I hope you have fun, let's get started.
